About Tidlignok
Knowledge as
you grow.
Tidlignok is a knowledge resource from Womanhood Initiative. Children and young people can learn about their bodies, health, feelings and their own and others' boundaries. Parents and carers can find knowledge and tools to support their children. Professionals can use the content in teaching, guidance and conversations.
Why Tidlignok?
Understanding what is happening helps
Changes in your body or something feeling different can raise many questions. Perhaps you noticed something in your underwear, felt pain or noticed that your feelings are taking up more space than before.
Tidlignok aims to make it easier to understand what you are experiencing, find words for it and know what you can do next. You can also learn about topics you are curious about before you need the information yourself.

From questions to conversations
Find the words you need
With 'Help me explain', you can select sentences and add your own words. Your choices are combined into a message you can say or show to someone you trust, a school nurse or a doctor.
You decide what to include and whom to speak to. The tool is available in the sections for both ages 8–12 and 13–17.
The knowledge behind the content
Explanations backed by sources
The content draws on sources including Helsenorge, Sex og samfunn and Ung.no. We also use professional guidance and research where a topic requires more detailed sources.
The language is adapted to each audience. Source references on articles and explanation cards show where the information comes from.
